Integrations

AI visibility integrations: Search Console, PageSpeed and MCP

Rankry tracks how nine AI engines talk about your brand. Integrations add what happens on Google and on your own site: Search Console data, page speed tests, visits from AI answers, and an MCP server that lets your own AI tools read it all.

Sample data

In short

Rankry integrations are the connections that bring outside data into Rankry, the AI search optimization platform, and let other tools read Rankry data. The Integrations catalog has three today: Google Search Console, Google PageSpeed and the MCP server. Next to them sits the AI Traffic script you add to your own site. Search Console access is read-only, and none of them change anything on Google or on your website.

What connects

What can you connect to Rankry?

Each integration answers a question your AI visibility reports can’t answer alone: is Google indexing the page, is it fast enough, does AI send anyone to it, and can my own assistant read all this?

Google Search Console

Sign in with Google and Rankry reads your Search Console data with read-only access: search performance, URL inspection for up to 25 pages at once, and sitemaps. Searches you show up for but don’t track yet appear on the Opportunities page.

Google PageSpeed

Add your own Google API key and run PageSpeed Insights on any page, on mobile or desktop: Lighthouse scores, lab metrics, Chrome UX Report field data and the fixes Google suggests.

MCP server

Create an API key and connect Claude Code, Cursor or another MCP client. Your AI tool can then read your visibility, competitors, sources, Search Console data and more through 21 tools.

AI Traffic script

A small async script on your site counts visits that arrive from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and other AI platforms, with landing pages, countries and real queries from Perplexity visitors. Pro plan.

Rankry Brain

Not something you connect, but the place where connected data pays off. Ask the in-app assistant a question and it checks your reports, Search Console, PageSpeed and AI traffic before it answers.

One place to start

Every integration lives under Integrations in your project: “Connect external tools and data sources to your project.” Once connected, an integration pins itself under “Integrations” in the sidebar.

Plans and access

Which integrations come with which plan?

Integrations are switched on per plan. This is what each one needs and what it is allowed to do. If something isn’t on your plan, Rankry says so on that page instead of showing data.

IntegrationHow you connectWhat it can doAvailability
Google Search ConsoleSign in with Google, then confirm or choose the propertyRead-only access to performance, URL inspection and sitemapsPlans that include the Search Console integration
Google PageSpeedPaste your own Google API keyRuns PageSpeed Insights on URLs you choosePlans that include the PageSpeed integration
MCP serverCreate an API key and send it as a Bearer tokenReads your Rankry data; the only action is running a PageSpeed auditEvery Rankry subscription; some tools follow your plan
AI Traffic scriptPaste one script tag into your site or Google Tag ManagerCounts visits referred by AI platforms, without cookiesPro
Rankry BrainBuilt in: “Ask Rankry Brain” in the sidebarReads and explains your data; changes nothingEvery Rankry subscription, with no monthly question allowance

MCP tools for AI traffic need Pro, and its Search Console and PageSpeed tools need those integrations. The same applies to Rankry Brain.

Setup

How do I set up Rankry integrations?

You can connect them in any order. Search Console is the one most teams start with, because it also feeds the Opportunities page.

  1. 01

    Open Integrations

In your project, open Integrations. Each card shows whether it is on your plan and whether it is connected.

  2. 02

    Connect Search Console

Sign in with Google in the popup and allow read-only access. Rankry matches your project’s domain to a property, or asks you to choose one.

  3. 03

    Add a PageSpeed key

Create an API key in Google Cloud Console with the PageSpeed Insights API enabled, then paste it on the PageSpeed page. It is stored encrypted for that project.

  4. 04

    Create an MCP key

On the MCP server page, create a key (it is shown once), then copy the config-file entry or the Claude Code command into your client.

  5. 05

    Install the AI Traffic script

On a Pro plan, open AI Traffic, click “Get script” and paste the tag into your site’s head or a Google Tag Manager Custom HTML tag.

  6. 06

    Ask Rankry Brain

Once data flows, ask “Is my site indexed on Google?” or “How much traffic do AI engines send me?” and Brain checks the connected sources.

Privacy

Is it safe to connect Google Search Console to Rankry?

Rankry asks Google for one permission: read-only access to Search Console. You sign in with Google in a popup, so Rankry never sees your password, and you can revoke access at any time from your Google account. Disconnecting in Rankry revokes the grant too.

Rankry stores the property you selected and encrypted OAuth credentials. It reads Search Console data to show it to you and does not keep the analytics responses as report records. Its privacy policy also commits that Rankry does not sell Google user data, does not use Search Console data for advertising, and does not use it to train generalized AI models.

When you ask Rankry Brain or a connected MCP client for Search Console data, the result goes to the assistant you chose, and only because you asked.

Limits

What don’t Rankry integrations do?

Clear limits make it easier to decide what to connect. None of these exist today.

  • Request indexing, submit sitemaps or change anything in Search Console
  • Connect to Google Analytics; AI referral visits come from Rankry’s own script
  • Run PageSpeed on a schedule; you start each test
  • Sign in to the MCP server with OAuth; it uses API keys
  • Track conversions, revenue or AI crawler visits in AI Traffic
  • Change your AI visibility scores or reports with Search Console data

Questions

Integrations questions

Something missing? [email protected]

What integrations does Rankry have?

Three in the Integrations catalog: Google Search Console, Google PageSpeed and the Rankry MCP server. Rankry also offers the AI Traffic script, which you install on your site to count visits from AI platforms, and Rankry Brain, the built-in assistant that reads connected data.

Is Rankry’s Search Console access read-only?

Yes. Rankry requests only Google’s read-only Search Console permission. It can read performance data, inspect URLs and list sitemaps, but it cannot request indexing, submit or delete sitemaps, or change any setting in Search Console.

Do I need my own Google API key?

Only for PageSpeed. The PageSpeed integration runs on a Google API key you create in Google Cloud Console, so tests use your own Google quota. Search Console needs no key or credentials of your own: you sign in with Google and allow read-only access.

Does Rankry integrate with Google Analytics?

Not today. To see visits that come from AI answers, Rankry uses its own AI Traffic script on Pro plans. It counts referrals from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and other AI platforms, with landing pages and countries. You can still group AI referrals in Google Analytics yourself with a custom channel.

Which plans include integrations?

Search Console and PageSpeed are available on plans that include them. The MCP server and Rankry Brain come with every Rankry subscription, though their AI Traffic, Search Console and PageSpeed answers follow your plan. AI Traffic is a Pro feature. Check the pricing page for what each plan includes.

Can I connect ChatGPT or Claude to my Rankry data?

Through the MCP server. Rankry gives ready setups for Claude Code and for clients that read an MCP config file, such as Cursor. Use another client if it supports remote HTTP MCP servers and a custom Authorization header. Connecting through the ChatGPT app requires an OAuth account-linking flow, which Rankry does not currently provide.

Does connecting Search Console change my AI visibility scores?

No. Search Console data appears in its own tabs, in the Search Console block on the Opportunities page, in Rankry Brain and through the MCP server. Your Visibility, Position, Share of voice, Rankry Score and Action plan come only from AI answers.

How do I disconnect an integration?

Disconnect Search Console in Rankry and it revokes the Google grant before deleting its stored credentials; you can also remove access in your Google account’s security settings. MCP keys can be revoked on the MCP server page, and removing the AI Traffic tag from your site stops new visits being recorded.
