What is Rankry
Rankry is an AI search optimization platform. It asks AI assistants the questions your buyers ask, reads every answer, and shows you whether you’re named, where you rank, how you’re described and who wins instead. Then it helps you close the gaps.
Why it matters
Section titled “Why it matters”More and more people skip the search results page. They ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google’s AI Mode “what’s the best CRM for a small agency?” and take the short list they get. If the answer names three of your competitors and not you, you lose that buyer before they ever see your site.
What Rankry does
Section titled “What Rankry does”- Asks the questions. Rankry writes buyer-intent prompts for your business, and you can add your own. It sends each prompt to every AI engine on your plan, with web search on, the way a person would ask.
- Reads every answer. For each answer it records whether you’re named, your place in the list, the tone, which competitors appear and which sources are cited.
- Measures you against your competitors. The Dashboard and Compete turn those answers into a handful of metrics, tracked over time.
- Shows what to fix. Opportunities, the Action plan, Sources and the AI Readiness audit point at the questions, sites and pages worth working on. Content Studio helps you write the pages.
The engines
Section titled “The engines”Rankry reads answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Grok, Meta Muse, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Copilot. Your plan decides which ones run for you. See AI engines.
The core metrics
Section titled “The core metrics”| Metric | The question it answers |
|---|---|
| Visibility | In what share of answers are you named? |
| Position | When you’re named, how high are you on the list? Lower is better. |
| Sentiment | How positively do the answers describe you? |
| Diversity | How many of the engines name you at all? |
Share of voice and the Rankry Score put these side by side with your competitors. All definitions are in Metrics explained.
