Rankry Brain
Rankry Brain is a chat assistant built into Rankry. It answers questions about your project from your Rankry data: it can explain a number, compare you with competitors, chart a trend, or tell you how a feature works.
Where it opens
Section titled “Where it opens”- The orb in the bottom-right corner of every page. When you leave a page still for a few seconds, it suggests a question in a bubble. Hover the orb to see one.
- Alt+A (⌥A on a Mac) opens and closes it from anywhere.
- See details on the Dashboard’s Visibility, Position, Sentiment and Diversity tiles. This opens that metric’s full breakdown in a wider panel, built straight from your report’s numbers.
- Insights on the Compete page, which opens what the latest scan found about your competitors.
What you see
Section titled “What you see”The home screen has three ways in:
- Insights: what this scan found about your brand. Open one to ask what it means and what to do.
- Common questions: ready-made questions about your brand.
- How-to guides: how Rankry works, from scores and reports to sources and integrations.
Or type in the box (“Ask Rankry Brain about your AI visibility…”). Shortcuts in the box: / for commands, ? for questions, & for guides and # for insights. You can start a new conversation at any time.
What it can answer
Section titled “What it can answer”Brain looks up the numbers before it answers, using the same data you see in the app:
- Rankry Score, visibility, position, sentiment and diversity, overall, per engine and over time;
- your tracked prompts: where you’re named, your rank and which competitors appear;
- the competitor leaderboard;
- the sources AI cites, including gaps where competitors are cited and you aren’t;
- insights from your latest report, and your tasks;
- AI Traffic, if your plan includes it;
- Search Console performance, indexing and sitemaps, and PageSpeed reports, once those integrations are connected;
- how Rankry itself works.
Ask for a chart and Brain draws a line chart for trends or a bar chart for comparisons, right in the chat, from the numbers it fetched. Comparisons often come back as tables.
What it won’t do
Section titled “What it won’t do”- It’s read-only. Brain can’t change settings, add prompts or competitors, create tasks, or run audits and scans.
- It sees one project. Answers cover only the project you have open. Switch projects to ask about another.
- It stays on topic. Brain declines general questions, coding, translation and anything else that isn’t about your brand or Rankry, and suggests a question it can answer instead.
Example questions
Section titled “Example questions”- How is my brand doing in AI search?
- Where am I losing to competitors?
- Show my visibility trend as a chart
- What should I fix first?
- Which prompts am I ranking for?
- Where are competitors cited but I am not?
- Which topics am I invisible on?
- Is my site indexed on Google?
- What content should I write next?
How to use it
Section titled “How to use it”Start from See details on a Dashboard tile when a number moves, then ask follow-ups such as “which engine dropped?” or “chart it for the last 90 days”. To act on an answer, open the page it points to: Brain explains, and the rest of Rankry is where you make changes.
