Your first report
Your first report starts the moment you select Create report at the end of setup. It’s the same scan Rankry runs on schedule afterwards, with one extra job: picking your competitors.
What happens
Section titled “What happens”- Every prompt goes to every engine on your plan. Each pair of prompt and engine is one answer, and each answer lands on its own. You can watch the Dashboard and the Prompts table fill in; nothing needs a refresh.
- Each answer is read. Rankry records whether you’re named, your place in the list, the tone, the other brands named and the sources cited.
- Competitors are picked. Rankry tracks the brands the answers name most, up to your plan’s limit.
- Competitor figures are calculated. Compete shows “Analyzing competitors” until this finishes.
The first answers arrive within minutes. A full report takes longer with more prompts and engines. You’ll get an email when it’s ready.
What to look at first
Section titled “What to look at first”- The four tiles on the Dashboard. Visibility, Position, Sentiment and Diversity. Each has a status label and an info icon. Select See details to have Rankry Brain break the number down.
- Where you’re named. The Dashboard card that splits your visibility by topic and by engine. A topic at zero is a gap worth a look.
- Prompts. Sort by Visibility to see the prompts where you’re missing. Open one to read the full answers. See Prompts.
- Compete. Who leads your category and by how much. See Compete.
- Opportunities. Prompts where few rivals are named and demand is high. See Opportunities.
After the first report
Section titled “After the first report”Rankry scans again on your plan’s schedule, with the same prompts, so the numbers are comparable over time. Each answer uses one report request from your plan. See Scans and report requests.
If an answer fails, the prompt’s status shows a retry icon in the Prompts table. Retry it from there.
