Google Search Console

Search Console shows how your site does in Google search: what people search for, which pages they land on, and what Google has indexed. Connecting it puts that next to your AI visibility, so you can see the searches you already win and the ones you don’t track yet.

  1. Click Add integration in the sidebar and open Google Search Console.
  2. Click Connect Google Search Console. A Google window opens.
  3. Choose the Google account that owns your Search Console property and allow access.

Rankry connects through its own Google app and asks for read-only access. You don’t need a Google Cloud project or credentials of your own, Rankry never sees your password, and you can revoke access at any time from your Google account.

If the window closes before Google confirms, the page says Google did not complete the connection: try again with the account that owns the property. If the permission is later revoked or expires, the page asks you to connect again.

The connection belongs to the current project. Connect each project separately.

After you connect, Rankry looks for the property that matches your project’s domain.

  • If it finds one, the report opens.
  • If it can’t tell which one to use, it shows Choose a property with every property your Google account can see. This happens when the property is stored in another form, for example sc-domain:example.com instead of https://example.com/. Click Select on the right one.
  • If the account has no properties, you see Site not found. Verify your domain in Search Console, then reconnect.

To switch later, click the property next to Property at the top of the report. The list has a search box and marks the one in use as Current. Pick another and every tab reloads for it. Click away or press Esc to close the list without changing anything.

Clicks, impressions, CTR and average position, as Search Console reports them.

  • Range: 24 hours, 7 days, 28 days, 3 months, or a custom date range. Daily data arrives about two days late; the 24-hour view uses hourly data.
  • Search type: Web, Image, Video or News.
  • Filters: query text, page text, country and device.
  • Tiles: Total clicks, Total impressions, Average CTR, Average position. Click a tile to show or hide its line on the chart.
  • Table: group by Queries, Pages, Countries, Devices or Dates, and sort by any column. Click a row to filter by it. On Pages, hover a row and click the inspect icon to check that URL.

Paste up to 25 URLs, one per line, and click Inspect. Each URL gets a status (Indexed, Not indexed or Failed) and its coverage. Click the details icon for the full result: the verdict, Page indexing (how Google found the page, last crawl, whether crawling and indexing are allowed, and the canonical you declared versus the one Google chose), Mobile usability and Rich results.

A read-only list of the sitemaps Google knows about, with Type, Submitted, Last processed, Status, Discovered pages and Discovered videos.

Above it, Indexing sums up what Search Console reports:

  • Pages in sitemaps: the pages your sitemaps list, as Google read them.
  • Shown in Google search: distinct pages that got impressions in the last 28 days.

A page that showed in search is indexed. One that didn’t may still be: Search Console gives no total of indexed pages, and checking pages one by one would use up your inspection quota.

  • Opportunities, Search Console section: Google searches your site showed up for in the last 28 days that you don’t track yet, sorted by impressions. Add any of them as a prompt.
  • Rankry Brain: ask “How is my organic search traffic doing?” or “Is my site indexed on Google?”
  • MCP server: AI tools connected to your account can read performance, URL inspection and sitemaps.
